The Big Gig Weekend is a leading three day music event held at the Royal Bath and West Show Ground in Somerset, September 25th – 27th 2009. The Big Gig Weekend is a unique event with a wide range of international artists including James Morrison, Boyzone and Katherine Jenkins. The diverse range of artists attracts a broad spectrum of the public, with a fun, family orientated atmosphere with up to 24,000 attending over the three days. We currently and will have a strong marketing campaign, which consists of working with our media partners, Heart FM, Star FM & The Mid Somerset Series and Northcliffe Media. Also we are working with ITV West and West Country TV with a strong marketing campaign, along with most of the Tourist Information Centres, and retail outlets.
This year we are proud to be supporting The Somerset Community Foundation, and The Academy Theatre in Shepton Mallet.
The Big Gig Weekend has in the past attracted a wide range of companies for our trade stands, and because of the diverse make up of people attending the 3 days it has been successful in the past with stall holders, and product placement companies.
The trade stands will be situated along the side of the main viewing area and opposite the busy fair ground area. As all of our customers enter the site they will walk past all stands on the way to the main arena. Gates will open at 3pm – 11pm daily with the main acts taking to the stage at 8.30pm except for the 27th where gates will open from 6pm onwards, and Katherine Jenkins will be performing from 7.30pm onwards.
We currently have a limited number of trade stands available this year, and opportunities for product placement companies, so for further information please call Henry Reith on 01749 689074.
